Elaborately moulded in the Rococo style in bright enamels of pink, yellow, blue, brown and green with hand painted European scenes of people within villages and ruins

The "Minghetti" ceramics factory was founded by Angelo Minghetti in 1858 in Montagnola at Bologna which is the largest city of the Emilia-Romagna Region in Italy. In 1908 the factory changed it's name to the: "Artistic Ceramics Angelo "Minghetti & Figli" and in the following years employed numerous young ceramicists including; William Sansoni, Said Tato, Alcino Cesari, Arturo Colombarini, Alfonso Matteuzzi, Luigi Santi and occasionally the sculptor Cleto Tomba
